National Workshop: “Getting Ready for the FIBAA Program Accreditation”
Tishk International University’s ISO and Accreditation Office successfully conducted an enlightening workshop titled “Getting Ready for FIBAA Program Accreditation,” specifically tailored for the Business and Accounting departments. It was under the supervision of the vice president for academic affairs Asst. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ozdemir. The workshop, held on the 22nd and 27th of November 2023 aimed to equip participants with a comprehensive understanding of the accreditation procedures aligned with the standards and guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area.
The ISO and Accreditation director presented various crucial topics essential for accreditation readiness, ensuring a thorough grasp of the standards required for compliance. These topics included:
- Roadmap to FIBAA Accreditation
- PLOs (Program Learning Outcomes) – Courses Matrix
- Student Workload Analysis
- Dublin Descriptors – Courses Matrix
- CLOs (Course Learning Outcomes) – Teaching/Assessment Methods
It’s great that the ISO and Accreditation Office organized such a workshop to equip faculty and staff with the necessary knowledge and understanding of accreditation procedures, ensuring the quality and relevance of Business and Accounting programs. Furthermore, completion letters were distributed to all participants who attended the workshop.
