National Workshop: “Getting Ready for the AArU Program Accreditation”
Tishk International University’s ISO and Accreditation Office successfully conducted an enlightening workshop titled “Getting Ready for AArU Program Accreditation,” specifically tailored for the Law department. It was under the supervision of the vice president for academic affairs Asst. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ozdemir. The workshop, held on 29 and 30 November 2023 aimed to equip participants with a comprehensive understanding of the accreditation procedures aligned with the standards and guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area.
The ISO and Accreditation director presented various crucial topics essential for accreditation readiness, ensuring a thorough grasp of the standards required for compliance. These topics included:
- Roadmap to AArU Accreditation
- PLOs (Program Learning Outcomes) – Courses Matrix
- Dublin Descriptors – Courses Matrix
- CLOs (Course Learning Outcomes) – Teaching/Assessment Methods
These topics cover essential aspects of preparing for AArU accreditation by focusing on curriculum alignment, learning outcomes, and adherence to European higher education standards. Furthermore, the participants made remarkable contributions, actively engaging in discussions, and showcasing their dedication and passion for learning, thereby elevating the workshop’s dynamics with their high level of performance and active involvement. Completion letters were distributed to all participants who attended the workshop.
